Cos D`Estournel`s white wine is a classic Sauvignon Blanc-Semillon blend made in small quantities, less than 1000 cases annually, and was first produced in 2005. The 2019 vintage is 65% Sauvignon and 35% Semillon and saw a very light touch of new oak, just 8%. The Semillon adds weight and structure to the blend with deft stone and tropical fruits to balance classic vibrant acidity and citrus fruits from the Sauvignon Blanc. This is drinking superbly now but will age gracefully.
