Situated in Pernand-Vergelesses, Domaine Bonneau du Martray is the only estate in Burgundy to make wines exclusively from Grand Cru vineyards, namely Corton and Corton-Charlemagne. In 2017 the property was acquired by American businessman Stanley Kroenke, whose portfolio also includes Screaming Eagle in Napa Valley. The 2009 vintage is pure and focused at this stage, boasting notes of white flowers, honey, delicate vanilla, crushed chalk and toasted brioche.
