Bonneau du Martray is a unique wine producer based in Pernand-Vergelesses. It is the only Burgundian estate to solely make grand cru wines, Corton and Corton-Charlemagne. In 2017, the domaine was sold to American businessman Stanley Kroenke, who also owns Screaming Eagle in Napa Valley. The 2004 vintage is expressive and complex, revealing aromas of green apples, white flowers, citrus, wood, minerals and sea air. The palate is intense, with an oily mouthfeel and persistent finish.
