Collard-Picard Essentiel 2012 is a vintage, prestige-cuvée Champagne from Épernay, France. A zero-dosage champagne from the renowned producer Collard-Picard, the wine is a blend of 50% Chardonnay, 25% Pinot Noir and 25% Pinot Meunier. Vinification and ageing take place in oak barrels and the wine does not go through malolactic fermentation. The nose is rich and complex, with notes of candied lemon, apples and a touch of wood. The dry but refreshing palate makes it an ideal champagne to pair with a hot seafood platter. Here available in celebratory magnum format.
