One of the largest and best-known Burgundy houses, Louis Jadot owns or directly controls almost 132 hectares in the Côte d’Or, including over 90 individual vineyard sites. This is the maison’s 2008 Clos de Vougeot, which is now in its prime. Expect notes of dark cherries, violets, spices and a sprinkle of cacao powder.
