Clos St Hune Riesling Vendanges Tardives Trimbach 1989
Clos St Hune was first bottled in 1919 & is made using superb fruit sourced from a tiny, 3-acre parcel in the Rosacker Grand Cru. One of the icons of French winemaking, Clos St Hune is suitable for long term ageing & will grow in complexity over the years. The rare "Vendage Tardive" bottling of Clos St Hune is made using the passerillage. Not as sweet as one may expect, this is a supremely concentrated, off-dry wine & is made only in tiny quantities.
