Domaine Ponsot is one of the most respected producers in Burgundy and has a great track record of innovation, being one of the first to practise estate bottling in the 1930s. All fruit is sorted in the vineyard prior to hand-harvesting ensuring only the finest quality bunches are used and maturation is only ever in used barrels. The Clos St Denis Cuvée Très Vieilles Vignes is produced from vines planted in 1905 that yield miniscule amounts of incredibly complex and concentrated fruit.
