Clos du Clocher 1800cl 2015

1800 cl
£1,980.00
Owned by Jean-Baptiste Audy, Clos du Clocher is a small estate in Pomerol that, since the sublime 2009 and 2010 vintages, has been consistently producing excellent wines and continues to fly somewhat under the radar. From the excellent 2015 vintage, this blend of 81% Merlot and 19% Cabernet Sauvignon is wonderfully ripe and intense, offering up notes of plum, black cherry, truffle and wild herbs. A delightfully generous yet superbly well-balanced example of Right Bank Bordeaux with excellent ageing potential.
