Lucien Le Moine is the name of the micro-négociant operation founded by Lebanese husband and wife team Mounir and Rotem Saouma. The couple source exclusively premier cru or grand cru vineyard parcels and raises them in their vaulted cellars in Beaune. This 2017 Clos de Vougeot is a refined red, featuring blackberries, pomegranate, stone and toasty oak flavours aligned with a lean, intense frame. It`s saturated and balanced in its youthful way, with a firm, dense finish. Long aftertaste reverberates the fruit, mineral and spice notes.
