Clos de Tart is a 7.5-hectare monopole Grand Cru vineyard located just south of Morey-St-Denis and, with Sylvain Pitiot at the helm from 1996 until 2015, quality and consistency increased extraordinarily. With meticulous attention to detail paid to work in both the vineyard and cellar, Clos de Tart Grand Cru is crafted from the best plots of the oldest vines. 2002 was an exceptional vintage in Burgundy and this is an unbelievably strong release that could have upwards of 20 years ageing left in it.
