Gilles Berlioz is based in the village of Chignin, in the Savoie department of eastern France, and produces distinctive and characterful wines from 4ha of organic and biodynamically cultivated vines. Bergeron is the local name for the Roussanne grape variety, and this is a wonderfully rich, concentrated and slightly oily wine produced from exceptionally ripe bunches harvested in several passages of the vineyard.
