Owned by the brothers Tommaso and Federico Marrocchesi Marzi, Bibbiano is one of the oldest estates in the Chianti Classico belonging to the same family. Their Vigna del Capannino is produced only in the best years, using Sangiovese Grosso, considered to be superior to the Sangiovese Piccolo. The 2016 vintage shows lovely aromas of sour black cherries, prunes, balsamic with sweet spices, cinnamon and cloves. The palate is focused, with great concentration and powerful tannin structure.
