Chevalier Montrachet Vougeraie Magnum 2016

Domaine de la Vougeraie was founded in 1999 by the inimitable Jean-Claude Basset. With holdings in some of the most prestigious appellations of Burgundy, viticulture and winemaking is meticulous and is both organic and biodynamic. The domaine’s beautifully wrought yet tensile 2016 Chevalier-Montrachet Grand Cru was made from a tiny 0.15-hectare parcel of vines that is still worked by horses and was matured in 50% new oak for 17 months. Just 532 bottles and 24 magnums were produced.
