Chene Bleu Abelard 2011

£73.30
The 2011 Chêne Bleu Abelard is a blend of 85% Grenache Noir and 15% Syrah from 30-40-year-old vines and aged in barrels for 18 months. Deep garnet in colour, it opens with intense notes of black cherry, plum and liquorice, with subtle hints of spice box and scorched earth. It is powerful and full-bodied yet wonderfully svelte on the palate, finishing long and complex with intriguing bitter chocolate and mineral inflections.
