The history of Domaine la Barroche extends all the way back to the 17th Century, but it was really only after the early 2000s that the estate came to prominence when Julien Barrot joined the family business. The 2018 release of this entry level cuvée, formerly known as ‘Signature’, is a blend of around 60% Grenache, 20% Mourvedre, 13% Syrah, and a mix of other varieties from a variety of different parcels with an average age of more than 70 years. It is full-bodied and generous, exhibiting an array of red and black berry fruits, spices and herbs.
