The white Châteauneuf-du-Pape wines made by esteemed producer, Château de Beaucastel, are some of the best in the region. The 2003 release is a blend of 80% Roussanne, 15% Grenache Blanc and 5% other varieties, that was fermented in a combination of stainless-steel tanks (70%) and oak barrels (30%). It is a rich and unctuous wine with notes of citrus oils, peach, tropical fruits, dried flowers, musk, honeysuckle and spices.
