Château de Chambert is one of the producers responsible for the rejuvenation of Cahors as a region for high quality winemaking. Having recently gained organic and biodynamic accreditation, and with additional support from consultant winemaker Stéphane Derenoncourt, this is an estate that has gone from strength to strength. Grand Vin is made from 100% Malbec sourced from the estate’s oldest vines. This is a rich and powerful wine with plentiful structure and immensely concentrated dark fruits.
