Thomas Morey is the 10th generation of his venerable Chassagne-Montrachet-based family and, having worked at the family domaine for 12 years, he established his own label in 2006. With parcels of vines across the whole of the Côte de Beaune, Morey’s wines are renowned for their vibrancy, elegance and silky texture.
Sitting just above the highly revered Montrachet Grand, ’Les Dents de Chien’ is perhaps the jewel in the crown for Morey. Just one of four owners, his holdings total 0.705 hectares of vines planted in 1986. This is a voluminous yet subtly powerful wine that has wonderful notes of citrus, stone fruits, apple, honeysuckle, crushed minerals and delicate hints of struck match.
