Thomas Morey is the 10th generation of his venerable Chassagne-Montrachet-based family and, having worked at the family domaine for 12 years, he established his own label in 2006. With parcels of vines across the whole of the Côte de Beaune, Morey’s wines are renowned for their vibrancy, elegance and silky texture.
‘Les Baudines’ comes from two plots of equal size planted in 1973 and 2002. This is a charming release from the excellent 2015 vintage, offering up lovely notes of citrus, orchard fruits, white flowers, nuts and honey. With several years of bottle already, this should be perfect for drinking now.
