Domaine Odoul-Coquard was founded in the early 20th century and remains family owned and operated, managing 9 hectares of vineyards in 21 different appellations throughout the Côte de Nuits. As is permissible, the 2016 Charmes-Chambertin Grand Cru incorporates 15% fruit from Mazoyères-Chambertin and just three barrels were produced. Though immensely pleasurable already, there is ample tension and structure that only further bottle time will ameliorate. Drink 2022-2040.
