Charmes Chambertin Les Mazoyeres Vougeraie 300cl 2017

Domaine de la Vougeraie was founded in 1999 by the inimitable Jean-Claude Basset. With holdings in some of the most prestigious appellations of Burgundy, viticulture and winemaking is meticulous and is both organic and biodynamic. The 2017 Charmes-Chambertin Les Mazoyeres was produced from a 0.74ha parcel of vines planted in 1902 and spent 16 months in French oak. This is now a domaine achieving remarkable levels of consistency and quality, and this is yet another excellent release that should develop beautifully in bottle. Only 10 jéroboams produced.
