The Dugat family have been winegrowers in Gevrey-Chambertin since the beginning of the 17th Century and is currently run by the 12th and 13th generations. Quantities are miniscule and the domaine’s style is often characterised as rich, plush and particularly ageworthy, with many of their wines matured in 100% new oak. From the sublime 2016 vintage, this will require a good 2-3 more years cellaring before being ready to drink but should develop well over the next 20+ years.
