Charme Niepoort Magnum 2010

Niepoort Charme 2010 is a medium-bodied red wine produced in the Douro Valley of Portugal. An homage to winemaker Dirk Niepoort`s love of fine Burgundy, Charme is a red wine of extraordinary finesse from old vines of traditional Douro red grape varieties growing in cool, sun-sheltered vineyard sites of the Vale de Mendiz in the Pinhão Valley. Fermented with 100% whole bunches which were foot-trodden in traditional stone lagares, Charme 2010 is a blend of predominantly Tinta Roriz and Touriga Franca. Expect aromas of forest floor, cherry and raspberry on the nose before a lifted, fresh palate and finish.
