Charles Heidsieck Rose Millesime 300cl 2006

Founded in 1851, Charles Heidsieck is one of the most admired Champagne houses thanks to the unrivalled and consistently high quality of its wines. Produced from 100% Grand and Premier Cru vineyards, this elegant Rosé Champagne is a blend of 60% Pinot Noir, 40% Chardonnay, including 8% red wine. The 2006 vintage is highly fragrant, with aromas of strawberry jam and candied fruit, mingled with perfumes of mild spices such as cinnamon, honey and cardamom. On the palate, the silky, voluptuous texture is reminiscent of fig tart and pastries. Spiced notes unfold with a warm, well-rounded finish, underlined by notes of tea and red berries.
