A traditional method South African sparkling wine hailing from Elgin, South Africa. Originally a fruit farm planted with apples, pears and plums, Furneaux farm was purchased by Charles and Zelda Fox in 2005 after an inter-regional search for Cap Classique-specific terroir. The 2013 Cipher is produced from a classic blend of Chardonnay and Pinot Noir, and a dosage of 6g/l, displaying citrus and creamy, nutty character on the nose, carrying through to a citrus peel and brioche character palate.
