Domaine David Duband lies in Chevannes, in the heart of the Hautes-Côtes de Nuits and produces incredibly refined and elegant wines from 17 hectares of organically certified vineyards stretching from Nuits-Saint-Georges to Gevrey-Chambertin.
The 2018 Chambolle-Musigny 1er Cru ‘Les Gruenchers’ comes from a plot of vines that are over 40 years of age. Grapes were manually harvested, rigorously sorted and fermented with 80% whole bunches. It was matured for 14 months in 40% new oak barrels and 60% in barrels of 1, 2 and 3 years of age. Bottled without filtration some sediment may be present.
