Established in 1999, Lucien Le Moine is a partnership between husband-and-wife team of Mounir and Rotem Saouma. They carefully select parcels from the finest Premier and Grand Cru vineyards up and down Burgundy, and then raise the wines in a slow and painstaking fashion. The 2017 Chambolle-Musigny ‘Les Amoureuses’ Premier Cru has a very fresh and subtly floral nose of airy red pinot fruit and spice nuances. The palate is textured and mineral, with a persistent, warm finish.
