This is the 2019 vintage of Louis Jadot’s premier cru Chambolle-Musigny Les Amoureuses, which is situated just under Le Musigny and bordering the vineyards of Vougeot. This particular vineyard had to be replanted in 1986 after a very severe frost in 1985. Here the Pinot Noir grapes are destemmed and fermented in vats for 3 to 4 weeks. The 18-month aging process takes place in oak barrels produced by Jadot’s cooperage Cadus.
