The domaine founded in 1924 by Georges Roumier, is one of the most revered in Burgundy. The 2005 1er Cru Les Amoureuses is a prodigious release of sheer brilliant complexity. Heavenly aromas of red cherry, orange peel, dried flowers and smoke unfurl from the glass. The palate is enormously concentrated and deep yet imbued with incisive energy and precision.
