This is a superb mature example of Gevrey-Chambertin’s most revered Grand Cru, Le Chambertin, from one of the villages more underrated producers. 1983 was a challenging vintage due to early-season hail and late-season rains but the majority of the best wines came from the Côte de Nuits.
