Domaine William Fèvre is a leading producer in Chablis and is one of the biggest landowners with 78 hectares of prestigious vineyards, including significant holdings in many Premiers Crus and in six of the seven Grands Crus. Vinification remains incredibly traditional with fermentation and maturation on fine lees undertaken in a combination of stainless and seasoned oak (ave. 6 years old).
Les Clos is the largest of the Grands Crus in Chablis and is often the most revered. The appellation enjoys a southerly aspect and has very dense clay soils, resulting in wines that are aromatically complex, generously rich with fruit and distinctively mineral. From the excellent 2017 vintage, this is a full-bodied, concentrated and remarkably lengthy release that will age wonderfully in the cellar.
