Displaying a deep red colour, with light red rims, the 2000 Château Certan de May is blend of 70% Merlot, 25% Cabernet Franc and 5% Cabernet Sauvignon. The wine reveals intense aromas of blackberries, mocha, saddle leather, plums, dry cherries and a touch of minerality. Relatively light-bodied on the palate, it features notes of cedarwood, spices and some vanilla. Drink now through to 2030.
