Cédric Bouchard is unquestionably one of the most exciting winemakers in Champagne. Farming organically and with drastically reduced yields, he produces a stunning range of single vineyard, single variety, single vintage, low pressure and zero dosage wines that are really pushing the boundaries of quality and innovation.
From just 15 rows of vines planted in a 0.25-hectare vineyard planted in 2007, Presle is produced from 10 separate massal selections of Pinot Noir from a well-known Burgundy domaine. Full-bodied and generous yet unerringly elegant and precise, this is a beautifully textural Champagne, blessed with wonderful natural concentration and vibrant acidity.
