Catena Zapata are one of the premier Argentinian producers and their single vineyard Chardonnay is truly world class. The 2017 White Stones Chardonnay was exceptional and the 2018 perhaps even surpasses it with Luis Gutierrez of The Wine Advocate describing it as “chiselled, focused, symmetric and pure, more in the style of Roulot than Coche-Dury, with superb integration of all the elements and fine minerality.” Drink now-2032.
