Clos Apalta is an ultra-premium single-vineyard wine from the Colchagua Valley in Chile. Owned by the illustrious Lapostolle winery, it has been considered a separate project with its own winemaking team since 2014. Though not without its challenges, the 2016 vintage was generally regard as successfully, producing grapes of optimal maturity. This is a full-bodied, rich, powerful and complex release composed of 64% Carmenere, 19% Cabernet Sauvignon and 17% Merlot. A superlative wine that will easily age for 10+ years.
