£172.00
The 2006 Clos Apalta is a blend of 43% Carménère, 30% Merlot, 21% Cabernet Sauvignon and 6% Petit Verdot. The nose is dominated by black fruits, plums, cassis and mint. On the palate, it is deep and full-bodied, with notes of cassis, black cherries, blackberries and a touch of black peppercorn. The wine is at its prime and should continue to drink beautifully for the next 5+ years.
