Second wine of Château Lafite Rothschild, Carruades de Lafite has characteristics close to the Grand Vin with its own personality linked to a higher proportion of Merlot and specific plots intended for the production of Carruades. The 2019 is composed of 68% Cabernet Sauvignon, 27% Merlot and 5% Cabernet Franc and offers up a nose that is ripe and fresh at the same time, with notes of blackcurrant and black fruits. This is a rich Carruades with fine, precise tannins and great aging potential.
