Carmel Vintage is made in the style of a vintage port from Petite Syrah grapes, grown in the Judean Hills. It is fortified by the addition of grape spirit during fermentation and is then aged for 18 months in small French oak barrels. It is deep in colour with notes of blackberry, dried fruits and bitter chocolate.
