Carmel Mediterranean comprises of 30% Carignan, 25% Syrah, 16% Petit Verdot, 12% Mourvèdre, 10% Petite Syrah and 7% Malbec. The grapes came from the finest wine grape growing regions of Israel, most of them from the Upper Galilee. The resulting blend displays a deep purplish hue and is characterized by scents of blackcurrants, red plums, raspberries and cherries. Full-bodied but with smooth tannins, and flavours of blackberries, blueberries, cinnamon and orange zest that lead to a cranberry finish.
