Château Angélus’ second wine, Le Carillon d`Angélus, was first made in 1987 and accounts for about 30% of the total production. The 2018 vintage is a blend of 65% Merlot and 35% Cabernet Franc. On the nose, expect aromas of black cherries, raspberry coulis and subtle orange pith, with well-integrated new oak. The palate is medium-bodied, with supple tannins, plenty of lightly spiced red fruit and a refined, saline finish. Drinking Window 2024 – 2036.
