A stunning 35 year old Caol Ila bottled by Douglas Laing as part of the Xtra Old Particular range. A fresh, martime Caol Ila on the nose with ocean spray, a hint of tropical fruit and a whiff of mellow peat. The palate is sweet with a hint of herbal menthol and a touch of pear drop before spicy finish rounds things off. Limited to just 268 bottles.
