Caol Ila 35 Year Old (2018 Release) is an age-statement single malt whisky produced at the Caol Ila Distillery on the Isle of Islay. A flagship bottling from Diageo`s 2018 Special Releases series, this is a highly sought-after, extra-mature example of Caol Ila`s peated single malt. Distilled in 1982, it was matured in a combination of refill American oak hogsheads, and refill American and European oak butts. A very pure and refined Islay single malt in which an oily palate carries flavours of hay, dried herbs, black pepper, salted caramel, toasted almond and delicate peat smoke.
