The 2018 Grand Vin from Château Canon is based on 72% Merlot and 28% Cabernet Franc brought up in 52% new French oak. The wine has a beautiful bouquet including dark fruits, cherries and marzipan. On the palate, it’s a medium to full-bodied wine, with polished tannins and a tangy sweetness of a Bakewell tart. The wine has a great ageing potential and will develop further for years to come.
