Calon Segur Magnum 2020

Château Calon Ségur 2020 is a full-bodied, Cabernet Sauvignon-based red wine from the Pessac-Léognan appellation of Bordeaux. Here presented in magnum format, the 2020 Calon-Ségur is a blend composed of 78% Cabernet Sauvignon, 12% Merlot, 9% Cabernet Franc, and 1% Petit Verdot that spent 20 months all in new French oak. The wine bursts out of the glass, revealing expressive aromas of crème de cassis, blueberry pie, and kirsch. Subtle hints of garrigue, cedar chest, and forest floor add to its complexity. On the palate, it boasts a full-bodied presence, showcasing a solid framework of firm and finely textured tannins, accompanied by vibrant acidity that uplifts the generous and robust fruit flavours.
