Burn Cottage is a fully biodynamic 24-hectare Central Otago estate founded by the Sauvage family alongside Littorai’s Ted Lemon. The 2018 Pinot Noir is an intensely fruited yet silky wine of enormous depth and charm. Possessive of bags of innate complexity and a fineness of structure, this will age and develop superbly over the next decade, though it would also pair beautifully with duck roasted with Chinese five spice.
