This 1985 Brunello di Montalcino Riserva displays a lovely nose, full of lively scents, including dark cherries, rose petals, herbs and spices, with an underlay of dusty earth and soil. The palate is clear and linear, with juicy, orange acidity running through fresh flavours of dark cherries and dried roses, lined by a spine of steely minerality.
