La Fiorita’s Brunello di Montalcino is one of the most genuine expressions of the Sangiovese grape. After ageing 24 months in French oak casks, the wine spends another 18 months in bottle before release. The result is a full-bodied, juicy red, with ripe plums, dried cherries, cedar and a hint of chocolate. The tannins are silky and the finish is focused. Best enjoyed from 2022 onwards.
