The 2016 vintage of Il Poggione’s Brunello di Montalcino is a full-bodied wine, with a dark and intense ruby red colour. In the glass, it opens up to notes of ripe and dried fruits, almonds, leather, tobacco, aromatic herbs and spices. The palate is generous, marked by silky tannins and persistent length.
