The 1998 Tenuta Nuova from Casanova di Neri is a wine that has aged and evolved especially well. It is absolutely at peak for drinking and displays a wonderfully evocative nose of dried red currants and cherry with smoky, tobacco-laced nuance. The tannins are completely resolved and this medium-bodied Brunello is silky and smooth.
