A long-discontinued and very rare indie bottling of Bruichladdich distilled way back in 1965.
Caramel, baked citrus and dark honey notes on the nose are followed by an oily textured palate with notes of butterscotch, toffee, toasted nuts and baked apple - the oak is restrained here and the pure character of the spirit taking centre stage. The finish is rounded and balanced with a subtle kiss of oak spice to round things off.
